I have been volunteering with the Junior League of San Francisco and Chicago since 2004. I’ve been part of their leadership since 2010 including Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, Committee Chair and currently a member of the Nominating committee which will choose next year’s board of directors and leadership slate. The Junior League is a national organization of women committee to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of training volunteers.

There are definitely different people for different parts of my life. A role model for my career would have to be Sheryl Sandberg. She optimizes strength and success for women working today. Personally, I believe that my mother represents the absolute perseverance needed to continually move forward during this lifetime. Finally, I have been honored to have always worked with incredible partners who have taught me not to take things so seriously and enjoy the ride that is this career in public accounting.
